MARCEL SCHMELZER
- Technical Services Coordinator
Marcel has been actively involved with computers since 1982, when
Tandy first introduced their TRS-80 Model I. He since has held several positions with
Heath Zenith/Apple Computers, Tandy Business Sales, and CompUSA. He has worked in retail
sales, hardware management, and was a member of CompUSA's Small Business Group, which
catered to the smaller corporate client. Marcel is the project lead for the
UPMC ISD Desktop Integration Group.
DAVID
DEUERLING - Systems Consultant
David
is a recent graduate of Pittsburgh Technical Institute with an associates
degree in Computer Systems. He is also a Microsoft Certified Systems
Engineer (MCSE), and he is a certified TCP/IP Administrator. Along with
computer specialties, David has 5 years of customer service experience,
which he developed from managing a restaurant. David has a desire and
ability to learn new skills quickly. He is excellent in applying these
skills to benefit our customers. He has done many networking jobs for law
firms, businesses, and churches. He also has experience in serving customers
at their homes. Although David is one of the newer Sennex employees, he
looks forward to being an integral part of the company’s growth and
expansion.
BRYCE
CADY - Curriculum Development Director and Lead
Trainer
Bryce has a strong educational background,
and is a remarkably effective instructor. He was recruited by Sennex from
the Walt Disney
World Resort Training and Development Department, where he was
involved in training employees for all programs of the world-famous
resort, as well as clients of Disney's
Center of Excellence. He now specializes in the retooling of mature
workers and integration of disadvantaged populations, and has an
outstanding placement ratio of successful participants in his programs. He
looks forward to expanding Sennex's educational efforts to reach new
populations, both demographically and geographically.
LISA
BUEHLER - Project Director and Lead
Trainer
Lisa is a graduate
of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where she studied Visual Communications.
She is currently the National Project Manager for a computer training course
sponsored by the National Council on Aging. This innovative project is
designed to help our country's mature population to re-enter the workforce.
The program was launched in Pittsburgh in 1999 and is now nationwide.
WILLIAM
MOLENDYK - I.T. Trainer
William specializes
in training basic computer skills and Point-of-Sale systems to participants
in a national demonstration grant. He graduated with high honors from the
Metropolitan Technical Institute of New Jersey, and has an A+ Certification
from CompTIA. William's region provides targeted training for the grocery
industry and follows up with placement for successful training graduates.
SHAWN
VASHAW - Web Development Project
Manager
Shawn is in charge of all of Sennex's
web-related activities and helps clients to achieve their web development
goals. He oversees a development staff that can work wonders using all the
latest development tools, including Macromedia Flash and Allaire's
ColdFusion. Shawn has a degree in Film Production from Penn
State University, and he is excited to be a part of the
convergence of all media into one digital, monolithic, broadband
extravaganza. Shawn recently quit his full-time job at PSU
as a Theatrical Production Coordinator for the Center
for the Performing Arts to join the Sennex team full-time. He has
taught screenwriting at Penn State as well, and always looks forward to
helping people hone their skills.
ROGER BLACK - Roger is a
recent graduate with an MS in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh. Roger has over 4
years experience in the information technology industry, and has worked for United Parcel Service, in their Customer
Service division, for the last 2 years. Roger's Specialty is in the primary education
computer support arena. Roger supported The Mt.
Lebanon School District during the deployment of their internet technologies.
Roger is currently employed on-site at University of Pittsburgh.
NOELLE CONOVER
- Noelle is a Carnegie Mellon University
graduate with a Masters of Science in Information Science degree from University of Pittsburgh. Noelle has over 15
years of experience in the information technology industry where she has held positions in
marketing, systems engineering, technical writing, and training. Whether training new users
to use a standard software package or writing a manual to train users on a software
product, the skills she uses are the same. She is able to effectively and efficiently
communicate technical information to users in a thorough, yet easy-to-understand
manner. Her skills include the use of all standard office software packages including
Microsoft Office Suite, Lotus products, Framemaker, Interleaf Publisher, Visio,
Netscape and Exchange. She is also familiar with the ISD design methodology for developing
course curriculum. Her publications include research articles, white papers, user manuals,
newsletters, sales proposals, abstracts and design documents.
ALAN CRAWFORD -
Alan is a pilot for USAir with a strong
financial and business background. Alan gains his instructional background from the
military where he served as a ground school instructor for the Air Force reserves. Alan's specialty
is database instruction of FoxPro, Access, and FOCUS.
Alan also applies his financial and business background in classes on using financial
software, from Managing Your Money to Quicken to Microsoft Money.
Alan is a person with a great deal of energy and genuine interest in all that he does.
BRUCE RUSSELL - Bruce
has a degree in education and 20 years of corporate experience as an administrator,
systems engineer, instructor and marketing representative. He has taught marketing
training, retail point-of-sale and back-office procedures, OS/2 and Microsoft Office Suite
applications and has a working knowledge of Word Perfect, Corel Draw, PageMaker, Lotus
products and the Internet. He also has experience in course development for customized
education, tailored to specific client objectives. Bruces relaxed style of
instructing combines humor and technical expertise, resulting in a lively, fun and
positive adult learning experience.
JASON WOLFE

Jason Wolfe has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University. Jason has been a
member of the Internet Society for over three years and has been connected to the Internet
for over 5 years. Jason is proficient in HTML and authoring Web
pages, and created his own site, Couponsdirect, an Internet Coupon Site with
traffic flow topping 10,000 'hits' per day. Jason works with Netscape Navigator 3.0,
Quarterdeck, Netcruiser, Eudora Pro, Pegasus, Hot Dog Pro, HotMetal Pro, and other
Internet Web Browser Web Development and Email software applications. Jason has extensive
experience with Graphics Programs and applications including Corel Draw 6.0, PhotoShop 2.5
and 4.0, PageMaker 5.0, iPhoto Plus, Gif Construction and Web Asymetrix 3D image
development software.
